Wind farm developer faces stiff resistence

A Virginia-based wind energy developer won a small legal victory in its fight to establish a wind farm in Wells County, but another project proposed by Apex Wind Energy in Huntington County is meeting with stiff opposition.
Members of a group called Huntington County Concerned Citizens have asked the county plan commission to propose amending county ordinances to effectively make the establishment of a wind farm there a near impossibility.
