While county officials have said they are uncertain about the future of the Wildcat wind farm project, a representative from E.ON Climate and Renewables met with Madison-Grant school officials Monday to tout its potential benefits.
At their board meeting on Monday night, Madison-Grant school officials heard from Andy Melka, Wildcat Wind Farm’s Midwest-Northeast Region development director, who discussed the pros of having a wind farm in Grant County. Phase two of the $175 million Wildcat project would include project sites in Green Township and a small amount of Liberty Township, which falls in the Madison-Grant district.
