Broken turbine has engineers seeking answers

DUNLO, Pa. – Wind turbines overlooking Dunlo, Cambria County will not be turning anytime soon due to broken blades.

Everpower told 6 News it is not common that the fiberglass blades fail, but they plan on replacing the blades.

There were no reported injuries due to the broken turbine.

Engineers at Everpower are investigating the cause.
