Councillors followed officer’s recommendation to refuse plans to build a 130 metre tall single wind turbine.
North Warwickshire Borough Council’s Planning and Development Board made the decision last night (Monday).
Weinerberger Brick Works in Rush Lane submitted an application to install the 130-metre tall single wind turbine to North Warwickshire Borough Council in July last year.
The turbine has been proposed to generate enough electricity to power the production of bricks at the site, with surplus energy going into the National Grid.
