LOWVILLE – Two teens were arraigned Friday in Lewis County Court on charges that they shot at a turbine at Maple Ridge Wind Farm, causing extensive damage.
Blake A. Matuszczak, 18, of 6992 W. Main St., Port Leyden, and Joshua W. Stocking, 18, of 5398 Rural Ave., Lowville, were arraigned on second-degree criminal mischief charges and pleaded innocent. Both cases were adjourned to Jan. 24.
The pair was accused of shooting a radiator of a wind turbine off India Road, causing in excess of $150,000 worth of damage for the wind farm.
