Is windpower worth the risk? Är vindkraften värd risken?

Arvidsjaur kommuns före detta kommunalråd Jerry Johansson hävdar att bygdemedelsavtalet, gällande en vindkraftpark på Brattberget, beräknas ge 25 miljoner kronor till kommunen över en 20-årsperiod.
Vi ställer oss frågande till dessa fantasisummor. Enligt Kraftö vind, så är det inte avtalet för bygdemedel som ligger uppe på kommunens hemsida, utan endast en uppskattning.
I en verklighetsbaserad kalkyl utgår vi ifrån samma antal kraftverk, 17 stycken, med lika stor effekt, 3mw. Dessutom räknar vi med branschens erfarenhetsmässiga uppgifter från vindstat och svenska kraftnät, vilket ger ett genomsnitt på 24,6 procent verkningsgrad. Till detta räknar vi med 0,53 kronor i intäkter per levererad kWh, vilket är den genomsnittliga ersättningen för 2012. Då erhåller kommunen maximalt en ersättning på cirka 233 000 kronor per år.
För att sätta detta belopp i perspektiv så räcker det med att en familj med tre barn väljer att lämna kommunen på grund av vindkraften för att det ska bli en förlustaffär.

We question this fantasy. … In a reality-based calculation, we assume 17 power stations of equal power, 3 MW. From the industry’s data and from the Swedish power grid, we expect a 24.6 percent average rate of production. For this, we expect revenues of SEK 0.53 per kWh delivered, which is the average compensation for 2012. This gains the municipality a maximum compensation of approximately 233 000 SEK per year.
To put this in perspective, it be enough for one family with three children to leave the community because of wind power for it to be a loss.
