[Protesting wind power in Vindafjord – More nature and outdoor life organizations oppose the construction of two controversial wind farms in Vindafjord.]
Flere natur- og friluftslivsorganisasjoner går i mot bygging av to konfliktfylte vindkraftverk i Vindafjord.
Forum for natur og friluftsliv (FNF) har sendt ut en felles høringsuttalelse på vegne av Haugesund Turistforening, Norges Jeger og Fiskerforbund Rogaland, Norsk Botanisk Forening Rogalandsavdeling, Norges Speiderforbund Vesterlen krets og Norsk Ornitologisk Forening avd. Rogaland.
Natur- og friluftslivsorganisasjonene går i mot at det gis konsesjon til vindkraftverk på Døldarheia og Bukkanibba i Vindafjord kommune, Rogaland.
– Basert på organisasjonenes egen kunnskap om områdene og vitnebeskrivelser, erfaring, og undersøkelser fra eksisterende kraftverk mener vi at de negative konsekvensene for natur, miljø, og friluftsliv ved bygging, drift og nedleggelse av kraftverkene er langt større enn fordelene ved ny energiproduksjon, skriver FNF i en pressemelding.
