Plans for a proposed nine turbine Dorset wind farm have been withdrawn.
The wind farm was proposed for farmland to the south west of Milborne St Andrew.
West Coast Energy has announced that the planning application was formally withdrawn from consideration by West Dorset District Council.
A new revised scheme will now be considered for the site.
Steve Salt, planning and public affairs director of West Coast Energy, said: “Following a review of the various statutory and other consultee responses and after discussions with West Dorset District Council, we have decided to withdraw the planning application.
“This will enable consideration to be given to the concerns raised and to the submission of a new revised scheme for the site.”
