Michael MHK’s concerns over wind turbines at Jurby

The MHK for Michael says he’s NOT against a proposed wind turbine factory in Jurby – but IS concerned that the company concerned hasn’t had any consultation with him or local commissioners.
Pro Wind UK Ltd says it believes up to 120 jobs could be created at the plant on the Jurby industrial estate and this could be doubled in due course.
However, they want to build five wind turbines on the site to help power the operation.
Alf Cannan says the construction of such turbines on government land raises a significant number of questions
