Wind farm application withdrawn

Torrington – In last Tuesday’s meeting, Goshen County Commissioner Jim Hudelson shared news he had received that Wyoming Wind and Power LLC (WWP) had notified the Wyoming Industrial Siding Council it was withdrawing its application for a wind farm near Chugwater.

The proposed 300-tower wind farm would have been located mainly on private agriculturally zoned property and would have impacted Platte, Goshen, Converse and Laramie counties.
