Wind farm application withdrawn

TORRINGTON – In Tuesday’s meeting, Goshen County Commissioner Jim Hudelson shared news he had received that Wyoming Wind and Power LLC (WWP) had notified the Wyoming Industrial Siding Council it was withdrawing its application for a wind farm near Chugwater.
The proposed 300-tower wind farm would have been located mainly on private agriculturally zoned property and would have impacted Platte, Goshen, Converse and Laramie counties.
