A local wind turbine developer seeking to construct wind farms in eastern Champaign County and in northern Logan and Hardin counties hosts a meeting Wednesday to address specifics related to the latter project.
Hardin Wind, LLC, a subsidiary of EverPower Wind Holdings, Inc., conducts the public meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the American Legion building at 615 N. Center St., Belle Center.
Company representatives will discuss an electrical point interconnect switching station and a related 345-kilovolts transmission line to be constructed in conjunction with the Scioto Ridge Wind Farm – the proposed 180 wind turbines the company hopes to build on private land in parts of Hardin and Logan counties.
