While still refusing to break its contract with a wind farm company, county commissioners suggested Tuesday that they are negotiating with E.ON Climate and Renewables about the details of wind turbines to be built in Grant County.

Construction of the next two phases of the Wildcat Wind Farm in western Grant County, which are expected to consist of 124 turbines in the area between Converse and Point Isabel and encircling Swayzee, have been opposed by a local citizens group.
