The U.S. can’t afford monstrous wind farms

Charleston Daily Mail | July 10, 2013 | www.dailymail.com

How come we never read about how much money we save by constructing these wind farm monstrosities? Isn’t alternative energy supposed to be more economical?

Instead we read how many temporary jobs are created.

The reality is that wind energy is not a viable energy alternative. The cost per kilowatt-hour is much higher than nuclear or coal-produced energy. The same can be said about solar energy.

These wind farms are just another way the federal and state governments waste our money to appease their constituents and create a few temporary jobs.

It would be nice to see a comparison of coal-produced power versus wind and solar power. No business would invest in these – only governments that do not care about returns on investment.

With our enormous debt, we no longer can afford this waste.
