Noise from the wind turbines on Betws Mountain can be heard as far afield as Parcyrhun, Betws community councillors have been told.
Cllr Anne Sizmur said she had received a call from a Parcyrhun residents claiming noise from the turbines was audible.
Council chairwoman Loreen Lewis said her neighbour had also reported hearing the turbines at night. She also added: “The upper part of Maesquarre Road is in a dreadful state where the windfarm lorries have been slamming on their brakes.”
Community clerk Cerith Griffiths said Carmarthen – shire County Council had pledged to repair the surface when funds were available.
