To all of you who made a birthday contribution.
Wind Watch still needs help, though. If you did not already, please give now. Every dollar (and euro, yuan, pound, krone, zloty, ruble, rupee, shekel, etc.) helps to keep us on line and independent.

The north western Victorian shire of Buloke has approved the first windfarm since the Government tightened regulations two years ago.
The Coonooer Bridge Windfarm includes five turbines and landholders within three kilometres of the project will become shareholders.
The Buloke Shire Mayor, Reid Mather, says the council has done all it can to address community concerns.
“Unfortunately it’s just one of those things that council had to push ahead,” he said.
“We’ve tried all best endeavours to please everybody and I guess we can’t please everybody all the time.”
