Hundreds protest in Welshpool as wind farm inquiry begins

Today saw the start of Britain’s biggest ever public inquiry into wind energy projects, which will sit for up to a year in Welshpool, Powys.

Around three hundred people held a demonstration in the town, as controversial proposals for five windfarms in the area come under scrutiny.
