Grey County citizens wind turbine session

Some form of civil disobedience is being considered by people opposed to wind turbines. Grey County based Blue Highlands Citizens Coalition is organizing an education session tomorrow on what they describe as non-violent direct action.

Spokesperson Lorrie Gillis says they’ll learn their rights and the legalities around action they might take – and that could be anything from speaking out of turn at a municipal meeting to a blockade.

The education session will be conducted by the group Christian Peacemakers. It’s Saturday at the Osprey Community Centre in Maxwell, near Flesherton.
