It occurs to me to wonder: What if Falmouth’s turbines were just turned off? Forever? Just left there?
It is my understanding that they are pretty much obsolete anyway. They could be a reminder that perhaps we need to explore these costly ideas (yes – “modern contraptions”) more thoroughly before we give them the nod. Is that a possibility?
I must say, my sympathy is with the abutters. I would not want one near my home!
