Wind turbine issue gathers pace

Our forests, gas, oil and banks have either been expropriated, given away, or simply lost over the last few years. We don’t know who owns or controls large tracts of our vital national infrastructure. We now have the spectre of having our property subject to compulsory purchase so that faceless oligarchs and speculators can have access to two and a half thousand wind turbines in the midlands. The majority of landowners who do not want turbines on their land now are faced with the prospect of having access roads and power lines forced through their property so that their neighbours can reap the rather dubious benefits of having a wind turbine or two on their land.
Someone, somewhere is going to have to shout stop. Can we rely on our politicians? Not likely when they are more interested in attending funerals and so called clinics. We need to stand up and let those in authority that back room deals and cosy cabals to know that’s not the way to run this country.
