March 2012: 1.5-megawatt turbine starts spinning on town-owned land off Driftway under a purchase-power agreement between the town and private developer Scituate Wind, LLC.

Summer 2012: residents begin complaining to the health board about turbine noise and shadow flicker.

December 2012:Mark and Lauren McKeever, who live 640 feet from turbine, file suit against town, saying turbine is hurting their family’s health.

January 2013: Health board orders sound study of turbine to be paid for by Scituate Wind; McKeevers drop lawsuit, pending health board study.

February 2013: Massachusetts Clean Energy Center tests noise levels of the turbine as part of a year-long study of Scituate and other turbines in the state.

May 2013: Expected date of health board sound study.
