Worried crowd packs hall

The prospect of more wind turbines draws a full house. About 250 concerned residents gathering at the Youth Centre in Oil Springs last night.

Eniskillen resident Chad Burke organized the meeting after learning his township is being eyed by three wind power companies. David Colling lives in Ripley and does electrical pollution testing for homes, offices, and farms.

He told the crowd that his results for levels of electrical pollution on homes near turbines is startling.

Which he says causing the following health impacts.

Those attending the meeting signed a petition that Sarnia-Lambton MPP Bob Bailey will take to the legislature. Residents were told to educate their neighbours before they sign any lease agreements with wind companies.
