Norfolk County is considering asking the province again for a moratorium on wind turbine development until new studies on the potential health effects are completed.
Councillor John Wells made the request during a council meeting earlier this week. Council has already asked the province for a moratorium twice, and both times they were rejected. Currently, The Green Energy Act restricts municipalities in having any say in wind and solar energy developments.
