Four wind turbines could get the go-ahead at a Ryedale planning committee meeting tomorrow.
But anti-wind farm campaigner David Hinde, formerly of Scagglethorpe near Malton and now of Bempton on the East Yorkshire coast, plans to oppose plans for three of the four structures.
He is against a 255 ft high turbine at Willerby Wold Pig Farm, Willerby, on the grounds it would dominate the Vale of Pickering, affect traditional views of Scarborough and elsewhere and could cause accidents on the A64 by distracting road users.
He is also opposed to two 148 ft turbines at Allinson Wold, Sherburn, on the grounds they would be in the Yorkshire Wolds Landscape Protection Area and their size.
Councillors will also consider plans for a 112 ft turbine at Weaverthorpe near Malton.
