First Wind confirms Therrien buyout request

SHEFFIELD – A statement was received from First Wind, the company which owns and operates the 16 turbine wind project here, regarding a proposed buyout being sought by Luann and Steve Therrien, who live ¾ of a mile from one of the turbines, and have been pleading with the company, the state and now the town, to do something to help them.
