More information needed on wind tower project

In a Dec. 2 headline, it was stated that San Luis had given preliminary approval for two wind towers in the southeastern corner of the city.
With all the environmental questions being raised on just about anything and everything, I find it a little more than strange that no questions or concerns have been raised and/or addressed by the media or even made public by the city of San Luis.
Questions like:
To what depth is any drilling going to have to go to find bedrock capable of supporting the weight of two 3,000-foot towers?
Of the estimated 1,000 jobs that will be created, how many will be filled from our local labor pool?
How much noise will the air movement in those towers create?
Of the electricity produced by the towers, how much will have to be used to pump the water to the top of the towers?
Where will the water come from?
Will it have to be treated?
What effect will the evaporated water produced by the towers have on our area’s humidity?
What effect will the tower’s height and placement have on local air traffic?
It seems as though more information should have been publicized if this first-of-its-kind project is as great as it’s being made out to be. To do less would bring suspicion upon it like someone trying to pull a fast one on the city of San Luis.
