Cannon holding meeting with landowners interested in wind projects

A meeting between 27th Special Operations Wing leadership at Cannon Air Force Base and area landowners with an interest in wind turbine development is scheduled for 10 a.m. Jan. 30 at the base’s theater.
The meeting was set up at the request of Curry County Commissioner Wendell Bostwick. The meeting may include a quorum of the county commission, but a release from the county notes no public policy will be formulated during the meeting.
Interested parties must coordinate base entry and should contact the county manager’s office at 763-6016.
