Penicuik school photo sparks anger

A renewable energy company has been accused of using Penicuik school pupils to promote its wind farm plans.

Wind Prospect has come under fire for including a photo taken at Beeslack Community High School in its promotional leaflet about its proposals to build 12 wind turbines at Mount Lothian.

The newsletter, distributed in and around Penicuik, includes a photograph of second-year Beeslack pupils with a Wind Prospect official.
