A State Supreme Court Judge has ruled in favor of the Town of Litchfield’s ban on industrial wind turbines.
Judge Norman Siegel dismissed a lawsuit against the town last week.
The law was enacted in May of 2012 following over two years of deliberations during which time a moratorium was in place.
The plaintiffs had based their complaint on alleged procedural flaws in how the law was enacted rather than the substance of the law.
Their case was rejected by the court.
