Public comment being taken on Avian and Bat Protection Plan

The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission is accepting public comment on the Avian and Bat Protection Plan required for a 78-megawatt wind farm in Goodhue County.
The PUC requests that comments be submitted in writing at www.puc.state.mn.us by selecting “Comment on an Issue” or by mail, addressed to Burl Haar, Executive Secretary, Minnesota Public Utilities Commission, 121 Seventh Place E., St. Paul, MN 55101.
Initial comments will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. Jan. 14, 2013, and reply comments will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. Jan. 28.
