O’Donnell expects Marion Drive turbines to be “repossessed”

KINGSTON- Mary O’Donnell, the owner of three of Kingston’s disputed-wind turbines, has gone on the record.

She is expecting the wind turbines to be repossessed.

The new development came during an exclusive, Thursday afternoon interview with O’Donnell at the Kingston Town House.

KingstonJournal.com asked O’Donnell who owned the wind turbines on her Marion Drive property. “I do temporarily” O’Donnell responded, adding, “they’re about to be repossessed.”

O’Donnell is the executor of No Fossil Fuels, a Kingston-based corporation O’Donnell started which manages the wind turbines.

“I was never able to finance [the turbines] and now there are lawsuits against them so who knows,” O’Donnell said on Thursday afternoon.

The fourth industrial-size wind turbine in Kingston, located on the town landfill, is not owned by O’Donnell and will not be impacted if the Marion Drive wind turbines are repossessed.

KingstonJournal.com is still piecing the facts together on this story. Stay tuned for future updates on the status of No Fossil Fuels and the Marion Drive wind turbines.
