Second wind project proposed

ALGONA – A public meeting will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 2 p.m. at the Algona Public Library for landowners who would be affected by a project proposed by MidAmerican Energy and ITC Midwest.
The meeting is being held in conjunction with the Iowa Utilities Board and while the focus will be on affected landowners, the public is encouraged to attend.
A snow date will be set for Wednesday, Dec. 12.
