Ovenden Moor giant wind turbines approved

Calderdale Council tonight agreed to allow controversial giant wind turbines at Ovenden Moor, Wainstalls, Halifax.
The planning committee approved a scheme for nine turbines, up to 115 metres high, which will replace the existing 23 wind turbines.
There were 108 letters of objection.
