Why should Wales suffer?

Conservative Energy Minister, John Hayes has said no to more onshore wind farms. Why? Because the shires of England are now being threatened with the flood of wind turbine applications.
As I forecast more than 10 years ago, England would not tolerate the level of wind farm applications being seen in Wales and Scotland. Only Cumbria and Cornwall saw anything like that number of applications. The placing of 103 wind turbines above picturesque Llandinam in Powys in the 1990s did not even make the London press, and English politicians did not care for Wales. England would have been up in arms at such ruination. Shamefully, even our own politicians welcomed such desecration.
However, due to population numbers, England has the power. So if subsidies are withdrawn from onshore wind in England, Welsh wind farms will cease to be profitable as well, because they cannot exist without subsidies.
John Hayes thinks there are enough wind farms in the pipeline. Of course, the hundreds of 475ft turbines planned for Wales will be supplying England, not Wales, because Wales is already overflowing with fossil fuel electricity, let alone paltry wind energy. Welsh wind turbines in the pipeline must be stopped forthwith. The people of Wales need to speak out loud and clear. We won’t allow Wales and its tourist economy to be wrecked to serve English cities.
