Expert: County bad fit for wind farm

ASHLEY – DeKalb County looks like a bad fit for wind energy, a legal expert said Friday night. Roger McEowen, a professor in agricultural law at Iowa State University, spoke at Country Meadow Elementary School. The school lies in the heart of a potential wind farm south of Ashley proposed by a developer that reportedly has signed leases with dozens of landowners.
