Integration of wind power in Estonia (Tuuleenergia Uhendus) was an official protest against the new law on the electricity market. About this BakuToday Today, 24 October, the Association said, noting that the developer’s plans, the new law of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and communications of Estonia, the law will come into force in 2013. Association opposes the exclusion from the list of recipients of benefits on those renewable energy wind power parks, who has not yet built or are in the development stage. An exception will be made only for projects approved by the Ministry until July 2012.

According to representatives of associations, the law, if it enters into force, in fact, put a cross on the development of alternative energy in Estonia, as own funds from firms interested in developing wind farms, is clearly insufficient, and the lack of essentially leave them alone with the inevitability of loss and lost profit.

Particularly shocking Association calls the departmental approach of the law. According to representatives of the Association of Estonian wind power Association, opinion is not taken into account when drafting the law, the Ministry simply ignores the concerns of the Estonian companies of the industry and does not lead to dialogue. Also suggests that this law was adopted for specific businesses that have already received permission for the construction of wind parks in Estonia and are not interested in competitors.
