PLYMOUTH – Town Meeting denied a proposal for a two year moratorium on large wind turbine projects.
The moratorium would have only applied to residential areas and only to industrial-sized turbines. While 68 local legislators voted in favor of the measure, 39 were opposed. Since a two-thirds vote was required, the moratorium did not pass.
