East Coast Target | www.thisislincolnshire.co.uk 3 October 2012

A fundraising walk has been organised by the campaign group against plans for a wind farm near Gayton Le Marsh.

On Sunday, the No Wind Farm at Gayton group will be flying a Blimp close to the Two Mile Bank and site of the proposed eight wind turbine development by Energiekontor UK Ltd.

The Blimp, a large balloon, will fly at the height of the proposed turbines.

A walk will also take place along Two Mile Bank to the site, starting from Gayton Pumping Station where parking is available.

The start time is 10am and the walk to the meeting point at the Blimp is approximately half a mile down the Two Mile Bank. The more active may wish to walk the full length which is just under two miles.

The cost is £2 per person, children under 10 free and dogs £1 with all monies raised to go into the group’s fighting fund.
