Richfield citizen group prevails in lawsuit against wind developer

Late last year, the planning board halted a vote on the wind turbine project after learning of a lawsuit against the project.
It was organized by 34 local petitioners,and they won.
The group is called “Protect Richfield.” It was organized in 2011 to oppose the wind turbine project as well as other industrial developments that are not in the rural and agrarian nature of the surrounding areas.
