Essex: Wind farm construction vessel worker airlifted to hospital with spinal injury

A worker on a wind farm construction vessel has been airlifted to hospital after suffering from a spinal injury.
Thames coastguard were informed of the incident on the vessel, which was about seven miles east of Clacton, at 12.30pm yesterday.
A rescue helicopter from Wattisham and Clacton Coastguard were called to the scene and the patient was airlifted to Colchester Hospital.
