A plan to build five giant wind turbines in Polegate has been withdrawn days before Wealden planners were due to discuss the plans.
The application was due to be decided by planners in Crowborough on Thursday (July 19) but after officers recommended the council refuse the plan the applicant, Galliford Try Renewables, withdrew its application on Tuesday (July 17).
In a statement, Galliford Try Renewables said it did not have time to respond to the issues raised in the council report and would now work on a revised scheme for Shepham Wind Farm.
