Fullabrook should be fully operational again by the end of the week, according to owners.

The Fullabrook wind farm is set to be fully operational again on Friday, after being shut down for more than a month due to a ‘faulty part’.

The 22-turbine site was taken off line on May 24 for ‘essential’ electrical testing but is currently being reenergised with 11 turbines now fully operational.

The remaining turbines are set to be switched on over the coming days.

A spokesperson for Electricity Supply Board (ESB), parent company of operators Devon Wind Power, said operational and maintenance staff had worked tirelessly during the outage, along with staff at both ABB and Vestas, to help the wind farm return to service.
