A JLL reader tells that she was traveling recently and stopped at a women’s clothing store.
At the store they were offering wind energy propaganda cards that, among other fund raising dribble, said this:
Building even a single wind turbine is a huge venture; development can cost $3.8 million, more than we are able to spend. So we’d like to invite you to join us in reducing pollution by supporting NativeEnergy’s Iowa Farms Wind Project. For just $2, you can contribute to clean power and give a boost to a small farming community.
Sorry, I already get squeezed, involuntarily, by industrial wind beggars each month on my electric bill.
Holy crap! I feel like I am going to rolf.
