Galway Bay FM, www.galwaynews.ie 18 May 2012

Local campaigners against the construction of windturbines in Connemara are to lodge an appeal to An Bord Pleanala today [Fri May 18].

The Knockalough community group has now held a number of meetings to discuss the plans, the last of which took place last week and was attended by over 100 people.

The group is appealing against plans to build a 12 wind turbine farm at lands between Spiddal and Moycullen.
