Developers are launching a last ditch attempt to gain planning permission for a £14m wind farm at East Stoke today.
A planning inquiry into Purbeck District Council’s refusal of the scheme, for four turbines at Master’s Quarry, starts at Furzebrook village hall at 10am.
It is expected to last for nine days.
The Alaska Wind Farm scheme was rejected by planners at Purbeck District Council last year on the grounds on visual impact and noise.
Campaigners against the plans say they are confident the appeal will be turned down.
