Campaign group scales up its efforts

A new group concerned about the impact of industrial wind turbines has been formed by two north east Fife villages.

Save Carnbee and Arncroach Landscape and Environment (SCALE), describes itself as “concerned individuals”, who are “volunteers, trying to protect the landscape and environment we love”. It adds it aims to “highlight the huge damage that will be done by mass turbine applications”.

SCALE has set up a blog at http://scaleeastfife.blogspot.co.uk and has also already produced and delivered leaflets to residents regarding two applications in its area at South Baldutho and Lingo.

A spokesman added: “There seems to be a new one almost every week.”
