Council tax boycott threat

Fairlie Council chairman David Telford said the community may need to stop paying council tax if they are going to be railroaded in future following NAC’s approval of gigantic wind turbines.

Mr Telford is angry that there was no local representation in the planning committee which decided in favour of SSE Renewables controversial 200m turbines for Hunterston, which he described as a nightmarish experiment.

He also branded it a ‘clear breach of human rights’.
