Safety concerns over the Mynydd y Betws wind farm are due to be taken to the Welsh Government today.
The 15-turbine development was thrown into doubt after archaeologists claimed they had found a 5,000-year-old neolithic “stone row” which crossed the site’s access road.
Work has continued, but further questions were raised by the discovery of a National Coal Board map appearing to show a four-foot floodwater dam in a mine underneath the mountain.
Carmarthen East and Dinefwr AM Rhodri Glyn Thomas said: “It is absolutely vital for members of the public, and most importantly the residents surrounding the mountain, to have confidence all possible safety concerns have been addressed.”
