ST. PAUL – While the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission hearing on the controversial Goodhue County wind project has been delayed twice this month, the wind company hopes to push along a concurrent debate more quickly to secure financing.
National Wind, the developer of the 78-megawatt AWA Goodhue project northeast of Zumbrota, recently filed a motion to expedite the process at the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
It cites concerns about investors being unwilling to commit money to the $180 million project if it remains tied up in litigation. Read the full story in Tuesday’s print edition.
