P&Z approves amended small-scale wind farm plan

A wind farm on Elmore County’s eastern border could nearly double in size following initial approval by the county’s planning and zoning commission to amend the project.

Last August, the commission recommended approving a proposal by High Mesa Energy LLC to build a series of wind turbines spanning Elmore and Twin Falls counties.
